Might want to add that if you get banned it is by console and not by account and console or just account.

Also, for burning games you don't have to have a Kreon DVD Drive do you? That's just for backing up games right?

I'm not sure... I'd like to know also. I'm going to make my only computer soon, and I don't want to get the wrong burner.

Well, I would assume that you don't need a specific drive to burn games because for burning movies/TV shows you don't need a specific drive. As long as it is a DVD burner it should work. But I don't know for sure.

Kreon is needed only for backing up, almost any burner can burn games (Has to be able to burn Dual Layer, which is standard now)

Actually you can. You just change the source to the dvd drive.

You must not be very smart then. I can tell because you said "dis", while any intelligent human being would say "this". Not only that, but your horrible grammar. This don't make no sense? wow.

I believe any drive can replace it you just need to take your drive key from your current Samsung drive and change your drive key on your new drive to the Samsung DVD drive.

Re: Flashing your Xbox 360 Beginner FAQ (Please Read First)

okay, i have a problem. I ordered an xbox to repair because the disk drive wasnt working. I discovered that the motherboard thingy that you have to replace when switching disk drives was broken so i ordered a new one, so I could get a new motherboard thing( I dont know the actual name xD) so I have a few questions.

1. Will flashing this new disk drive allow me to play my games without it saying just "Play DVD"?

2. My disk drive is Hitachi September 2006 78FK. what items will I need to flash it?

3. Since I won't be playing burned games, I won't get banned just for having my disk drive flashed and playing original games, right?

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Flashing your Xbox 360 Beginner FAQ (Please Read First)

Is this tut still good and has M$ figured out about the firmware yet? I don't want to flash just to turn around and get banned, that would suck.

One more question if I have a bunch of sata built on the motherboard so I still need to buy a card? and I have a usb to ide/sata hook up. Hooks up HD 2.5, 3.5 iede/sata and I believe it does DVD drives...will that work as well?

Re: Flashing your Xbox 360 Beginner FAQ (Please Read First)

i would like to know the same thing. I have a ton of sata built in my motherboard and i also have a Esata (witch is the external sata plug on top of the computer case). can i use any of those plugs, or do i need to but the sata card. also i have a LiteOn DG-16D2S dvd drive and Windows7 (64bit version) on my PC what firmware should i use for the dvd drive and can i work with Windows7 or do i need XP?

also one last question (im sorry, im new in this flashing thing and i understand some of my questions may sound rediculous) what is this Jungleflasher thing?

thank you

also, i just read part of the jungleflasher tut and i have a LiteOn drive with FW:74850C is there a workaround the extra hardware (connectivity kit v3, etc), or is that a absolute MUST.

thank you
