Q: What if I figure out they are banning, and flash my firmware back to the original before I go online?
A: Let's say Microsoft has found a way to detect iXtreme 1.4. They would start collecting logs immediately looking for people that they detected, and flag the account. When the fall updates comes around, they would ban all those flagged accounts. Flashing it back would be futile, since they already have logs of you playing burnt games. This is all assuming that they found a way to detect it.

So they Ban Gamer Profiles? I was under the impression they Banned Serial #'s..

They ban EEPROMS actually, which is your whole console

So I can safely Move my hard drive from my unmodded Xbox back and forth to my Modded Xbox And Not worry about my unmodded Xbox or profile being banned?

Right. Just the 360 will be banned. Not your gamertag or any 360 associated with the HDD.

A: You have to try pretty hard to break it. The only possible thing is doing a "bad flash" with a Hitachi. But once again, don't let this worry you. Like I said, almost no one breaks their 360 flashing it.

Its basically a chat channel that uses mIRC as a client to chat.

If you are looking for Xbins you dont need mIRC, you can just go straight to the ftp. The app to do so is on my Flashing a BenQ Xbox 360 tutorial.

Sounds like you got the wrong distribution of SLAX. There is a modified version just for putting Hitachi's in Mode B, you shouldn't have to type or press anything...
