| Broken XBox 360 headset and controller, Microsoft Call in Return? I have a broken headset and a broken controller (Standard) = Came in a xbox 360 premium box all togeather purchised 10 months ago Xbox 360 wireless Controller (Standard) So the controller has a loose right stick, it moves but stays where it is left with out touching, normally it would move back to the center after release. XBox 360 wired Headset (Standard) Today my headset stoped working, i tried trying a different controller and it still didnt work. tired unpluging it and pluging it back in. no luck. anyhow i am not the kinda person that throws my controller across the room when i get mad or leaves my headset on the ground for ppl to step on it and hope it still works. I take very good care of my stuff and my headset is in mint condition its not the wire. Has anyone ever called microsoft and tried to return a controller or a xbox headset? i am going to try that tomorrow since it all should still be under warranty | ||||||

| BANNED | Ok im going to let you know right now, ANY!!! Microsoft created headset used for online play are EXTREMELY WEAK! They will break even after you get down playing you putting it n unbreakable glass with the softest pillows in the world. They are not well built, and the wires just give out after awhile. And as for the controller try opening your controller with a phillips head screw driver and looking at the thumb stick before you go returning anything and making them end up having for you to pay. Also try popping the thumb stick up with your finger then pushing it back down hard. |

| Ever Return Xbox 360 Headset or controller? okay so i called in today... result is that they just send u a new headset, there is no serial on a wired headset so they only ask for the serial on the back of the xbox 360 that came with the wired headset. but if u have a xbox 360 and its under a year old and it came with a wired headset. u could call in and say u have a broken wired headset and give them the serial on the back of ur xbox 360 and they will just send u a new headset for free. for the controller they asked me to send it to them then they would send me back a replacement. | ||||||

| Ive gone through MMAANNYY headsets, and Microsoft has actually been pretty god about replacing them. They just send me a replacement, and ask if i will send in the old one, but i never have and they didnt care. I will give them this, they are pretty decent with customer support on those things. | ||||||
