4 Lag problem

Alright this is a weird problem I've been having which really didn't bother me too much when I played sp games and mp games that don't really matter, but now that Mw2 is my main game I am in need of a fix.

Problem:
When I am playing, randomly there will be four 2 second lags. I could compare them to as if I kept hitting pause on a video over and over, but for only 4 times. Its always 4 times, never less never longer (thats really the main weird part). This effects me and when host everyone in the game gets it just as bad as I.

Setup
Xbox 360 Arcade
20GB Hard Drive
MU
Newest Dashboard (duh if I'm playing online)
As connection goes I get host 97% of the time on MW2.



Tried:
First I thought it was my Xbox, so I played on my other one for a bit (till it got banned >.<) but it happened on that one too. Thinking I had problems with both in the past maybe it was a similar case, no one Xbox got red lights so...3 Xboxs later the problem is still occurring.

So then I though it was cause my profile was on my MU, moved it to the HDD and it still happens. Also have tried recovering my account, which with a bit of GS takes an amount of time I don't ever feel like doing without a true need to do so.

So I don't know what to do now or what could be causing it. It is random and only happens 4 times, doesn't effect my computer and I want to say it doesn't happen on other profiles, though I don't currently have another one (2nd got suspended asks to put a CC on it, eh no ty).

Any ideas?

COuld be your TV, try recalibrating it.

well your upload is faster then my download(stupid England and its bad speeds) so there's no problems speed wise ,you may need to open ports in your router or set up a static ip
PortForward.com - Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model
will help with them find your router from list then xbox live on the next page
your normal ip will be 192.168.0.2 or 3 and if that isent open it will no doubt cause lag
and if you don't have a hdmi lead invest in one it could be that or it could be something as simple as a duff connector on your cat 5 or 6 cable ..

Might be Comcast, I've had lots of bad experiences in the past with them regarding Xbox LIVE, PSN, etc.

Otherwise, set up a static IP, open ports (as said above), and call up Comcast to see if there's any problem on their end.

Set up a Static IP Address, your xbox'x ip could be the same with an ip from one of your PC's or any other electronical devices that uses the internet.

My router was:
Starting Address 192.168.0.2
Ending Address 192.168.0.254

So I changed it to:
Starting Address 192.168.0.2
Ending Address 192.168.0.200

Alright, did the whole static ip thing, one problem I noticed is for whatever reason i cannot forward 3074, though the other ports will and the nat is open.

Anybody else got any advice besides calling xbox/comcast, I'd really like to avoid the two as much as possible.

Alright, I fixed it. For anyone having really slow load times on Xbox LIVE but your connection is fine, its your hard drive. I switched over to my spare 20GB and everything is real fast like it should be, next is prolly to buy a bigger 120GB/250GB of ebay
