would it not work out cheaper just to replace the console?

i have a banned console and unbanned console still have system link so happy with that but not happy that i cant install games to my hdd was gona buy a 250GB drive happy i never now!

perhaps some great team out there might find a work around for it in my view your banned so you might aswell do what you like to your console now....

The only way to "unban" your console is swapping the KV and of course doing this will probably just get you banned again.

Not worth it/ buy new console.

It's probably just HDD uncrippling service by backing up a file to the 360s nand to allow hd installed games and uncorrupted profiles when swapping to a non banned console on line I forget the whole actual process

The keyvault would have to be swapped to stop profile and gamesave corruption.. Which just about every console that is banned is updated past the 8xxx dash so they can't have the keyvaut swapped..

dumb question but whats the keybailt and what does it do? new to the whole xbox modding.

heres something thats worth i thought i got my banned console from ebay when i got it i could install games to my hdd since i received it i put it online to see the warning (temptaion got the better of me) as i have never seen it before now i cant put them on the hdd (odd).

1 of 2 reasons i think

1 wasnt fully banned

2 it was where it was powered down for a long period of time perhaps 5 days something lifted or erased makes ya wonder!

perhaps a custom dash could be made for banned console (or unbanned) itwould be easy to install as at present they can be done via usb or disc. just think about it theres 1 million + consoles out there that are banned from xbl and most if not all would like to install to hdd at least.

You can't just install a custom dashboard. You need to do a whole complicated downgrade process, then more complicated stuff that most people don't want to do.
