| Ok. My thought was that if the seal is still intact you can rule out someone ****ing up flashing the firmware. Off topic but I'm waiting for a broken 360 I bought off eBay too. It's got the RROD so I already went and gathered my parts. Last edited by T Sizzles; 07-05-2008 at 09:56 PM. | ||||||

According to the first post, it could be a problem with the AV cable. This links to my question (before borrow a friends AV cable), when I push the cover down for the surround sound plug when th Xbox is on, the light is red. I don't seem to have noticed that the light was red before. Before my 360 started throwing up this error, I noticed that the screen was fuzzy and the colours didn't show up right, and a mysterious "black grid" appeared on my screen. When I restarted my Xbox, that was when it started throwing up the error message. Finally, I noticed that before I turned the wall socket off -when the error first started- the Xbox seemed to continuously restart itself when I turn the Xbox off with the power button. After I turned the wall socket off then on, it stopped restarting itself. Does all this mean its not a simple problem with the AV cable? ![]() Edit: I also started playing on a few Halo 3 Modded Maps for the first time around the time when the Xbox broke. Coincidence? It means there is something wrong but the Southbridge cannot determine/target where the problem is. Last edited by jaymac407; 09-26-2008 at 10:00 AM. | ||||||

| Re: Xbox Error Codes, What they are and how to fix them Today I turned on my xbox 360 and I got the error 0103(four red, one red, four red, three red). Can someone please tell me what this one is. I did the steps in the first post where I unplugged all the cables and the power supply from the outlet and that didn't work. Then I tried removing the hard drive but that didn't work either.
