Match Serial Number to Mobo

Hi,

I have 3 xbox's sitting here that I have taken apart and im not 100% sure which case goes with which xbox, and im sure you need it right for the serial number etc.

Is there anyway to verify which case goes with which mobo? Or is it just a case of formatting an old hardrive, (im sure ive got one lying around)

why exactly does it matter?

and why would you have to format your hdd

Because I was selling them and I wanted to make sure I had the right case's on each because then the person I sold to wouldn't be able to format if needed.

Each metal case has 2 serial stickers on it.
The motherboard should have a sticker near either the usb port or memory card port.

Match them with the cases.
