Open Tray Issue with Backup Games

Hey guys. I just had my XBOX 360 flashed and noticed that my backup games will NOT play when the XBOX is sitting horizontally. It tries to read it and says "open tray" as if though there is nothing in the drive. Though, my retail games can be read and played in that position. However my Backups do PLAY when my XBOX is standing vertically. And yes, I use VERBATIM 8x dvdr+dls from Singapore, ABGX, and CLONE CD. (Thanks for tuts Se7enSins!!)

My question is this: Is this something to be worried about and get my laser cleaned just in case, or should I use the philosophy, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

You can try to clean it. I don't see this being a big problem, though.
