removing nxe update to prenxe

I went to radioshack today to get some tools for making a probe and the guy there had like 20 flashed xboxs. I told him what i was doing and he said that if i want to fix the e71 error i could easily remove the nxe update. But i dont know how to i been doing a bit of googling and nothing has seemed to come up. All i want to do it remove the nxe and go to the old blade dashboard.

You can not downgrade dashboards. The little window of being able to downgrade dashboards requires a lot of things and certain skills.

That guy doesn't know what hes talking about. It is completely impossible unless you have an xbox that was not updated to the latest dashboard and you have a mod chip or (possibly) the JTAG exploit preformed on the console.

well then how the hell do i fix my e71 error. Everytime i play a burnt game the stupid piece of poop locks up when i play for more then 10 minutes

Only way to downgrade is with a Xenon board. Using the Infectus timing attack.

The other way is to use the Jtag exploit. Only able to do this on consoles that have not been updated to the August09 dashboard.

It should be noted that even Xenons can't be downgraded once they have the new bootloader (8498), due to the fact that it blows a fuse OTHER than the LDV.
