Help! BenQ won't read any discs after flash!

I flashed my BenQ earlier and everything went real smooth without any errors or anything.

I connected it and tried to play a backup, original, and dvd but nothing will read at all. The 360 says "Reading" for about a second and then "Open Tray."

I flashed to 1.6 with JF and DosFlash (port64) since I'm on Win7 64.

If I have to reflash again, how do I go about doing it? Should I repeat the exact process I did the first time or is there anything of note that I should be doing this time around (ie do I need to restore original fw first and then reflash)?

Re-flash the drive. IF you have your original.bin then just open that as source and open ixtreme firmware as target and spoof key to target again and re-flash the firmware to the drive. If it still continues to give you open tray error. Then re-flash your original firmware to it. Then if it still continues to give the error. Then its the laser on your drive dying. You need to either POT tweak it or buy a new laser for it.

lol, I didn't even look at the log. If he doesn't have the original.bin he is screwed.

lol again. You made me question myself. You were wrong with your first post then. The firmware had not even been spoofed yet which is why it said key is 777777777777.

I would have been able to say that the first time if i took the time to read the log.

i scrolled to the bottom when i first read this. ya he simply didn't spoof the keys.

No, he spoofed them. The drive is just not reading anything. Which means.
1. Drive laser may be going out(Either POT Tweak or buy new laser)
2. Bad Flash and drive just needs to be flashed again. Would try making a new modded firmware file then flash it. If the problem continues flash the original firmware then if the problem continues its obviously the laser.

Finally! This worked on the second flash! No more Open Tray/Disc read problems now.

That's before he copied his key to the iX.bin file.
