| Diet Mod ![]() | Getting HDD's to Show Up in Xplorer360 (If you have FATX Error Look Here) This is for Windows Vista and Windows 7. 1) Right click and hit properties 2) Go to the compatibility tab and check the box " Run this program in compatibility mode for" 3) Select Windows XP Service Pack 2 4) Still on the compatability tab under privileges check the Run this program as an administrator box. 5) Click apply and then ok. 6) Open Xplorer360 and open your harddrive and do what you want to do. Now it will always run as a admin and in compatibility mode for XP SP2. Now if that doesn't work for you. Then we will turn off UAC(User Account Control) 1) Open Control Panel 2) Click on User Accounts and Family Setup 3) Click User Accounts 4) Click "Change User Control Settings" 5) Move the bar all the way down towards never notify. 6) Try again in Xplorer or Xport. Chances are if you do both of these things in Vista or Windows 7 and you still get the error. Then either your transfer kit is broken/malfunctioning or you will have to reformat your computer. In XP none of this has to be done. But if you get the error you most likely have a broken/malfunctioning transfer kit or you will need to reformat your computer.(I have seen this before and reformatting fixes it). | Diet Mod ![]() | Re: Getting HDD's to Show Up in Xplorer360 (If you have FATX Error Look Here) Download and install one of the two programs in my post. Your version of Xport or Xplorer360 which ever one you are using is outdated. |

I have 2 of the 250GB HDDs, one of them works fine in Xport 360 and the other doesn't so I'm trying to download Xplorer360 for 250GB but it requires a premium account. |
