Unanswered: Flashing a 360 with a laptop?

Just wondering if its possible, because it's my main/best compy.

1. I was hoping there was a real quick and easy DownLoad so i could flash my 360 using a usb drive but was I mistaken?

2. Do i really need to buy all this stuff for my computer to get my Xbox flashed?

and one last Question.

3. Can i burn and make backups with my computer if my Xbox isn't yet flashed? -It has a dvd-R Burner
*NOTE i have a benq drive.

I know I'm a noob but please i have been looking all over google tonight as well as tut's here to no avail. I have the 360 Hack pack as well as many tut's archieved.

Thanks in advance.

1. No. The USB drive is PART of the flashing process, but there's nothing 'standalone' out there that will do the trick

2. Yes, you need all hardware

3. No. Your drive has to be flashed to recognize the games, and the discs have to be DL to fit all the data

Hey, on #3 I think he is asking if he is just able to burn them, not play them. If that is the case then yes, but not the DVD-R you said, you'll need a DVD+R DL drive with DL discs.

Yeah either way it needs to be a DL disc because most games are between 7-8 gigs

You can't flash it with a laptop, the only SATA chipsets that work for flashing drives are on desktop Motherboards or more likely you'll have to buy a PCI card.

You can use dvd+r if you burn until end of media. But its always better to use dvd+r dl less problems.
