xbox sent back unrepaired

We're here to help in any way we can.; so yea i finally got my xbox back after two weeks and it still has the three red rings. if anyone can help me out i want to try to get rid of it myself

Unanswered: xbox sent back unrepaired
so yea i finally got my xbox back after two weeks and it still has the three red rings. if anyone can help me out i want to try to get rid of it myself so if anyone knows how to get rid of red rings without breaking ur xbox please let me know, thanks

Without breaking? It's already broken.

Find out what secondary error code you have. Then post it. The X-Clamp fix might do the job, if it's a code like 0022 you might have to get the solder on the GPU reflowed.

Oh, and to find the secondary error code, wait until the RROD comes up and then press the Eject and Sync buttons 4 times.

4 lights= 0
1 light= 1
2 lights=2
3 lights=3

You should end up with a 4 digit code.

no nothing at all

the only reason i can think of is there is a pice of the back broken because it fell

Man that sucks I'd be so mad. If you watch that video that I tried embedding(someone please tell me how), it shows a guy who didn't get his 360 fixed cuz they said it was modified and you'll see what he means, that dude was so mad prolly like u r now.

That kid probably *treid* tampering with the xbox and is saying he didn't. Microsoft has proper tools to open the xbox without that kind of case damage.

That sucks dude, I sent my friends console that had taped heatsinks and a broken MS28 drive (console has a BENQ)

Somewhere, I heard that if the one they send you one that is broken you get a free replacement and game.
