HELP I need to change from Digital Output to Analog Output

This is a discussion about HELP I need to change from Digital Output to Analog Output within the Xbox 360 Support section, where you will Get help for your Xbox 360. Cant connect to your PC, can't recover your gamertag? We're here to help in any way we can.; My 360 only shows digital output and I need to set my 360's sound to Mono but It doesn't show Analog output. It shows Digital but all I have plugged up to my tv is

Unanswered: HELP I need to change from Digital Output to Analog Output
My 360 only shows digital output and I need to set my 360's sound to Mono but It doesn't show Analog output.

It shows Digital but all I have plugged up to my tv is the Yellow and white cables(That's all my TV has). I need to set my sound to Mono since I only can plug the White and Yellow cables into my TV or else my sound will be messed up on GH3 and other games. The only way to access this option is to have my Audio Output as Analog Output, but it says Digital Output. It's only supposed to have digital if you have it set to HDTV. I have my switch on TV.

See this article it says to use Digital Output you need a special cable which I don't use.

Please help me on how to set it up to show analog output instead of Digital Output!!!!!!!!!

Well when they send 360s from the repair center do I have to download system updates?

If so then I can change it to Mono before I update it since my 360 is being repaired. But if It's already updated what can I do to change it to mono?

You could change it, but when you download an autoupdate it will go back.

This might work but I'm not sure how the sound quality would be

Don't know, probably because they figured that more people want options for Digital than Analog. Most people have stereo TVs so they figured they would add DTS and Dolby Pro Logic Digital output for the optical out and HDMI ports.

Well I had sent a email to Xbox support but no answer yet...
