Yes, it's likely that he put his information into a phispher, however, it is pretty easy for someone to have stolen his account from as little as his IP address. With the IP address, they can find out his zip code, city, and state. Then, with some time and effort they could easily extract all the information from the dot-heads called "Support"... If you dont believe me go take a look at TsGh and there is a sticky up there where people put accounts they want jacked up there and it usually gets done... | ||||||

I have hacked live accounts myself using this technique. Once you have the important information all you have to do is act like an angry customer and do some smooth talking. These people are truly sad. Now there are easier ways of which I know now but I say whatever works. | ||||||
