Unanswered: T8 Screws Wont Come Out!

I have a Xbox 360 here that has the RROD. I got all the X-Clamp crap ready, and removed all the screws. Now the heatsink black screws wont come out.

I have tried using a T8 and it clicks. T9 Clicks. T7 spins.

I think my T8 chipped. Anyways going to try another T8, but what can I do?

The console was bought on Ebay for RROD. Has 0021, and was opened but looks like the screws were not touched.

On another note the T8 I have atm works fine for the ROL board........

What can I do if the screws are all chipped?

Re: T8 Screws Wont Come Out!

Very carefully you can use a wire cutter and cut the head of the screw off, but thats last resort, use a flat head and try to wedge it in there and spin.

Like GambleR said, you should get some wire cutters, but be careful of flying screw heads.

Re: T8 Screws Wont Come Out!

Your all wrong.

What you do is you take a drill with a bit as big as the screw head, and very forcefully drill into the screw, once its penetrated it (not sexual) put it into reverse and push as hard as you can.

Worked on my blackjack II, PSP, one of my old 360s with that exact problem, my skateboard, ect.
