2 things about xbox cooling mods

OK 1.

If i bought the xcm chameleon case mod, the talismoon whisper max fans and the xcm core cooler v2, would my dvd drive still be ok and work well. Becuase they all link up to the dvd drive for power. If the answer is no, then what about all that except without the talismoon whisper max fans??

2.

With the xcm core cooler v2, you plug that inside ur xbox so it cool the gpu/cpu (i get mixed up so im going to say both), stays cooler, but what happens to the air. I know some of you will say "It goes out the fans" but it cant do because you have the big, white plastic thing in the way. Unless ur ment 2 take it out or sumthin. Cheers...

Please can some tell me instead of just coming on this thread and going off it again???????

This is why if you do any form of case mod i recommend using the stock fan's.

Especially if you have one of the hotter running Xbox 360's.

I have just seen to many end up at land fills because people tried to make the console cooler and to make the console more silent and just ended up frying the console.

This is why when you do any cooling mod's

You check.

1. version of xbox 360 (basically check hdmi or no hdmi)

2. If you have the hdmi version of the xbox 360 console you are fine to add fans if not keep the stock fan's.

This is do to the smaller processor's in the new decks versus the older decks newer decks don't get all that hot at all where older decks get hottt!!!!

Sup Bagers. The XCM Core Cooler is one of many ways to improve the GPU/CPU chip temperatures. The air travels throughout the heatsinks and eventually out the vents. You will feel warm air from the vents. The power coming from the DVD drive is ok but as long as you do not add extra accessories that power from the DVD the power source will be good. The water-cooled units do not have rear fans, they usually have 1- 80mm or 120mm fan because of the extra internal hardware installed. The Core Coolers supports all console versions. Although these fans are a good way of cooling the chips, I'd still advise you to place your console in a well-ventilated area budd
