I dont know about for free but there are sites out there that offer live at almost half the price of the retail price, google "instantlivecodes" they will email your code within half an hour, i got mine within 5 mins.

There are ways of "Phishing" but i wouldn't recommend on doing this as the hosting company are not afraid to get the cops involved and they will trust me.

I do believe in canada they dont need to be activated through the store, If i recall my friend was able to get like 4k mp from a store in canada and he was able to redeem the points on his account! IDK if this is the case but it seemed to work because then he bought a map pack and played.

Actually it depends what you get it from. The ones directly on the shelves do need activation. However, if you want to risk it, you can open a 12 month box with the messenger kit, headset, and game and take that card. It doesn't need activation.

Here is some common sense.

If you go to any site that requires you to download or install a plug-in for gamer point cards hope you enjoy spyware malware oh and my personal favorite getting banned for sharing illegal content.

don't trust these sites.

they are a scam.

most of these sites think hey i can get money from dumb idiots in the u.k and the u.s and most of the sites are based in india and in china so think before you do please.
