| 7S Enthusiast | Flashing, Stealthing and Banning? Ok, so I want to flash my firmware on my old Xbox 360, and play downloaded games on it. I mainly want to do this for gamerscore. I've got a fairly good idea of what I need to do, my question is about the risk factor. With almost every mod there is the risk of getting banned. But I've read recently that the console itself logs whether you have played a burned game and what profile the game was played on, resulting in a ban the next time you sign into Xbox LIVE. That is what causes me concern. I have 2 Xbox 360's. One is stock for Xbox LIVE, the other I want to flash. The problem is getting the gamerscore earned from burned games from my profile offline, online. My question is: Will I be able to flash my firmware on my second console, download and stealth check games, use my hard drive from my stock console on the flashed console (which has my Xbox LIVE profile on it), play burned games, unlock achievements on my profile, then remove the hard drive, put it back on the stock console, sign into Xbox LIVE and have my gamerscore updated without the risk of being banned? (Hope that makes sense lol )Thanks in advance! |

| Member | Re: Flashing, Stealthing and Banning? it all depends, its hard to tell nothing is ever for certain for banning, although this would probably be safe |

| :( ![]() | Re: Flashing, Stealthing and Banning? I would have to agree that this would be safe. Normally Microsoft bans the actual Xbox and not the account, although sometimes they will ban the account. If you were just transferring your HDD from console to console you should be safe on your account. |
