Will Microsoft Approve?
I want to spray paint my faceplate and also color in where it says XBOX 360 on the side of the case to black. But my question is. What if it gets rrod later on or some other type of problem where I would have to send it in to MS. Will they say they can't fix it because I customized it?

I believe you take off your face plate before you send it in...They told me to take my faceplate off when I sent mine in...

they say to take off any faceplate the didn't come on the Xbox but put on the one that came with it. Not to take it off.

yeah but i want to color on the side of the xbox. not only the faceplate. i think i got the idea though. as long is its not open and the sticker is still there i guess they don't care

I think if you call them before you send it in, you can probably stop them from scrubbing it off.

So did I with my 360 Elite but they told me to take off any faceplate and put on the original one.
