Rent it. Pretty sure I got all 1000 gamerscore in less than 2 minutes. Also I seriously doubt that the price you saw was legitimate and not a typo.

I saw Today a new video about the avatar sistem...Major Nelson didn't say anything about $$$ . But if that's true thennn them...I love the old dashboard.

I think you've got the wrong "Avatar". Its a game that lets you get 1000g in about 2 mins, not the avatar for the new dashboard update, which is going to be free.
