I tried this out today, phone 1-800-4-My-Xbox and say you are going to be buying a xbox 360 elite from your friend and you dont have it yet [that explains why you dont have the 2nd Serial Number] then they will tell you to give them your address yada yada yada and then before you know it, you will receive a free xbox transfer cable, without any hassle, it took me 5 minutes and i was like wow, they fail.

yeah, one time i needed to recover an account from my xbox to my 360 but i couldnt remember the password and email. so she asked me for the credit card i used (of course i forgot that too) and i gave her like 5 different numbers and she said none of them matched and after like 10 minutes of me begging he to just tell me my password she said "one moment please" then after a minute or so a guy came on the fone and gave me my password and email. i was shocked at how easy it would be to social engineer a xbl account with just the persons GT. lol

Or you can just say that you bought a 120 gb hdd and need to transfer to it. That would also explain why u dont have 2 serials. Thats what i did.
