internal elite!
hey guys my friend got his red ringed 360 back and i told him to ask for an internal elite system and external normal and they gave him internal elite and free 1 montyh as he asked for it as he was dissapointed also this has worked for 3 of my friends so i just thought i put it out there

He's not talking about the new motherboards........ Something to do with Internal/External Elite???

Plus all Xboxes coming out of the repair depot have the same motherboards...... Non-HDMI boxes are getting the Opus and the HDMI boxes (Elite, Arcade, New Pro) are getting Falcon motherboards.

So fi you send in a 360 with a HDMI Input built in you will get the newest falcon board?

i dont know about that i know they will change replace everything inside to the same insides of an elite just i dont know if u have to pay extra

They haven't made any revisions to the Falcon motherboard. Later this year they will phase out Falcon motherboards for the Jasper motherboard, which has a 65nm GPU and 65nm CPU. The Falcon motherboard has a 65nm CPU and a 90nm GPU.

You don't pay extra. Even if you send in a non-HDMI console they are using the Opus motherboard which uses the 65nm CPU like the Falcon but lacks the HDMI port.

A while ago my friend got RRoD and he sent t off to be repaired and he sent a note with it saying how dissapointed with it geting RRoD and since the Elite system had just came came out he asked for the internal system of the elite for the 360 but keep the shell white so they gave him the elite motherboard or watever it is and his 360 runs smoother on startip and the fans arent as loud.
