You can still get the Transfer Kit from MS but they are no longer free. They cost $12 US for anyone who is still posting in this!

I literally just called yesterday and got one, it's still cheaper than Xsata so 12 bucks ain't bad.

I called, asked about it, guy said yeah we can send you one for free. He asks for serial number, then he types and talks out loud what he was typing and he said, "How to transfer....to, new hard drive" or something like that, he was probably typing it into google lol. Next he says, well sir, this will cost you $12.99, then he started saying, you know you really don't need it lol. I got a good laugh from our conversation, haha
