no, it works multiple times but you need an elite console to get it apparently, or an elite serial number

Ohh i see, my dad has an elite AND one of those migration kits, i asked him if i could use it to mod yet he said it only worked Once

I just realised i wasted £10.

The cord will work as many times as you want to mod, just once for the xbox. I think.

When I ordered mine I used one serial number and it was from the xbox 360 pro. I'm not sure if they check it. Even my friend got away with using the serial number from a core xbox. Just try it anyway. Also try looking on xbox elites from eBay. They somtimes post the serial numbers.

ok guys, it was said before, I'll type a little tutorial.

1.Call the number 1-800-4MY-XBOX
2.Ask about accessories, after he is done talking say none of these.
3.tell him your phone number and serial number, then get put through to a real person.
4.tell this person that you just bought a 120 GB HDD, and you need a transfer kit.
5.tell them anything they need to know.
6.They will process it, and then you are done!
*shipping time is 3-10 days.

for you maybe but i just keep getting told that the retailer should have supplied a migration kit with you purpose, then i get a resource number and they say thank you for calling Microsoft customer support, but the worst part is that you keep telling me i should have already got one

probably USPS (united states postal/parcel service).
that's if you live in the US.

ok it finally worked for me, you just need to be given to the right person and they will help, but it was 1 in 4. and tell them you have a migration kit and not a cable

Bungie handles the modders. They put the law down and took care of their business. When was the last time you saw new modded pics on the fileshare since the update? Almost everybody is scared to put modded content on their fileshare because they know what will happen if they get caught.

And to note, Halo 3 is not the 360's biggest game.

I ordered one a while back and got it through usps. I put two pro serial numbers on the application and they still sent it. it doesnt matter what serials you put on there they will still ship it. Anyway when i got mine none the programs work for me. If you can help me out please do.

I called, got a typical foreigner name jesus, didnt even know what a transfer kit was, but somehow got it shipped!

So, some people are saying, you could only use it once? Or what?
