No, I'm asking if anyone has ordered it when all they have is just an Xbox360, no premium or elite bull junk.

Re: Free Xbox Transfer Cable from Microsoft

I friend of mine gave me his Transfer cable after he was done with it. I never could get it to work with my PC. Xplorer360 was able to find my HD. Is there anything special you have to do to get it to work? Or should it just be plug and play? Thanks.

1. You remove the hardrive from the xbox so you plug it into the hdd. So you don't need a cord from your of to the other side of the house.
2. Dont use the program they give you with the transfer cable. Just dowloaod xplorer 360, or download an aio with xplorer 360 inside.

Re: Free Xbox Transfer Cable from Microsoft

[quote]Look. I just wanted to let people know that there is another ,way cheaper, method of trasnfering data from your HDD to your Comp. Its called a transfer cable. Microsoft is giving them away for anyone who has an Xbox 360 Elite, Xbox 360 Pro, or Xbox 360 Premium. Its much more durable than the XSATA and smaller than than the Xport. Even if you already have an xport or xsata you might want to order it anyway as a backup. I just wanted to let everyone know that its free so you don't have to spend over 60 dollars on codejunkies online. This does the same job for free.[quote]
hey i called 3 times and i got told it was a migration kit and that it can only be handed out if you own an xbox 360 elite console as well, so this brings me to the question, does anyone have a spare xbox 360 elite console serial number that i can use?
