Is Aion Better Then Wow?

I have yet to play AION fully besides the demo at PAX i enjoyed it alot besides the somewhat looking anime people, i have played wow for 3years and i have stopped i am wondering if i should buy Aion and play that and invest my time into it or just renew my wow... so if anyone can give me the postives and negatives of Aion and whether they compare or contrast that'd be AMAZING

I like Aion.
It's fun, but I mean, I've only played WoW off and on for a year or two.
I'm an 80 and it was cool, but it's boring-ish.

I've heard AION is a better, more up-to-date WoW.

Also, if you haven't known, AION has been in the east for some time now, it's just now coming over to the west.

They're nothing alike, although Aions forums look very damn similar to WoW's..

It's personal preference. If you computer can Handle Aion, try it out. It's different than WoW in some aspects.

First, theres only one race for each faction, Elyos have humans, Asmodians have a beast like human

It starts out similar to WoW, quest giver right where you start. There's a bried story as to what went on before you start, I suggest watching it to understand what it's about.

for each town, there are "campaign" quest. Basically your main story like quests. For elyos, theres about 5 campaign quests the first town, Asmodians have about 8 or 9 or so.

There are i believe 4 classes, and each class branches out into two subclasses which you can choose from. If you're used to WoW with Talent points, there are none, you really have no control as to how your character grows.

Like in WoW, you aquire titles. But unlike in WoW, the titles you get in Aion, boost your stats, which is pretty sweet.

There's only one type of currency the whole game (aka WoW has copper, silver and gold) Aion only has Kinah, and trust me, there's plenty of it.

You can't talk in the general chats till level 5, but theres no point trying to anyway seeing as its flooded with Gold spammers

In my opinion gameplay goes to Wow. but look feel and overall system goes to Aion, but I just don't see my self switching.

Aion gets boring.
Aion has one starting area, so re-rolling is ridiculous.

WoW's User-Interface is much better.

Graphics are probably better in Aion, but I prefer WoW's.

Quests are about equal IMO.
XP is definitely more of a challenge in Aion.

Many games are built upon the CryEngine (1 or 2) but it doesn't mean that if you can't run Crysis you won't be able to play it. They are completely different games, the fact that they use the same backbone does not mean they are the same at all. The main factor when looking at how hard you are pushing your graphics card/integrated graphics is polygons. If they have advanced modeling and very high definition textures like Crysis, then yes you can expect it to require something similar to that of Crysis, but Aion uses pretty average graphics in terms of the MMO aspect.

Aion wasn't a bad game but after playin WoW for 2 years, starting over in a new mmo thats soo "grindy" just got boring. Aion is more PvP than PvE and I'm a big PvE guy in WoW so aion didn't stick very long for me.
