Basic questions from a noob to Wii mods.

Hey Guys,

I will be getting my wii soon and I am used to xbox modding but not so much on wii.
I am going to softmod my wii with the hack that does not involve Zelda. I believe it launches from memory manager?

So once I have homebrew channel installed there will be not much if anything in there correct? I must install wad files in the right dir. for HC to see it and prep it for install?

Can I set my modded wii up to use a set part of my pc hard drive for game storage with wbfs?

Does a modded wii see a formated usb drive in memory manager?

Is there any BIG thing to be aware of if I soft mod as opposed to hard mod my wii?

A good place to find wad files? (or a point in the right direction)

Anything a noob should know about the newest updates?

When you have HBC installed, it is easy to put WAD files in it.
