Help with wii backups on 4.0u

This is a discussion about Help with wii backups on 4.0u within the Wii Modding section, where you will Learn how to put a modchip in, firmware hacking, customizations, game ripping, etc. for the Wii.; My wii was a virgin 4.0, using the bannerbomb and Hackmii installer I now have the HBC and Bootmii installed and working. My issue comes with disc loaders. I have 2 neither of which work.

My wii was a virgin 4.0, using the bannerbomb and Hackmii installer I now have the HBC and Bootmii installed and working. My issue comes with disc loaders. I have 2 neither of which work. On backup disc loader 0.3 gamma says "IOS36" I have the cIOS installer which will not install I get an error at the end -1017 I believe. I read that I need to downgrade my IOS but not too sure exactly how to do this.

Nevermind found a good TUT for this and got everything working now
