error with usb on wii

hi all how is every one today i havn't been on forum for a while been mucking around with homebrew cool stuff any how i was wondering has anyone ever had a problem where the usb hdd drops out and doesnt work on wii have error checked in windows,re installed files on sd card ...wbfs wont reformat or see hdd but pc will and ideas ? all wii says when trying to use usb loader -1error or something like that hmmm.?

hm, have you tried to Google this yet? i am not sure about your problem but i am sure Google will find you the answer before anyone who does know your problem answers this thread

hi there reaper my prob is wierd my hdd wad working and had games on it then after a while it just stopped working will load games on via pc but when i try to mount via usb loader will not work says -1 ret error tried google and diff usb loader thinking trying wans 1.5 but haveing trouble setting up on sd card am i making sense?

I'm thinking you might have changed a small setting that you're overlooking. It's highly unlikely that you fried something. If I catch what you're saying right, try plugging something else into the wii with the usb loader and see if that 'something else' will come up, whatever you plug in.

hi there thanks for replying i do not have anything else i can plug in to the wii...do you think i could have confused it by changeing the files on sd card should i start again there if so whats the best noob starter pack to use? i mean includeing usb loader and othere apps. on another note is my wii bricked/ can i reinstall the homebrew and apps again like start from a clean slate so to speak...

if you get bricked, your pretty much like what it says.. your a brick, dont move, so i doubt you will be able to reinstall hbc and all that if your wii gets bricked mate, but i might be wrong i haven't had my wii that long so dont trust what i say 100% on that..
