is it possible to hack this game ??? cod waw??? just wondering cause i try hacks for the 360 and i just got the iso for cod waw so now im wondering if there are any? and if so could someone pm me.... and if there arnt any... but people have ideas on how to hack them tell me too

Profile hacking hasn't been patched and it's really easy.

For the Wii i am sure profile hacking can still be done, but i am not sure how it would be done, but for the 360 its been patched which someone down the road will find a bypass and exploit it

Ocarina cheats work offline, maybe they'll work online if you're host. But I've never got them to work online =/

I found exactly where to insert the commands and also modified the savegame.svg, but I can't modify my profile. I'm assuming they're signed, I left it the same size, just modified a command. I doubt theres every gonna be a wii resigner.

Ive been looking at the Wii via FTP and cant seem to find it lol

yes, I've been looking at that ever since i asked VF about wtf he was talking about (some other conversation i stumbled upon). So here's my current thoughts:

Structure:

int Checksum;
int Body_Length;
int Unknown;
string "// Generated by Call of Duty, do not modify" Size_2B;
List<Commands>;

Each command is on a seperate line (ie, proceeded by the 0x0A "newline" byte). Commands include the class.
This body (ie everything after the string) is proceeded by null padding to make a filesize of 0x8000.

The checksum is still calculated by unknown means. I have tested CRC, and the checksum is NOT a CRC by any means (I build a program to generated every possible CRC, turned up false). I am currently reversing the main executable for more information.

I used waninkoko's savegame dumper, but finding the file on FTP works too.

Savegames as well as profiles seem vulnerable, I set timescale 9. I got the game to run faster, although got MAX_STRING_SIZE_EXCEEDED error.

But the savegame.svg wont work in multiplayer lol, which is what we are trying to figure out

Exactly, the multiplayer configuration file is what we are trying to modify. I looked through the main executable and found nothing related to multiplayer though. Both VF and I are unable to find the multiplayer executable that *should* accompany it (every other release of CoD5 has two seperate executables, one for SP, and one for MP). If i were to ever find that, I could try to figure out the checksum, but it doesn't seem like I'm going to be able to do that.

Theres the MP config file but thats not what you're looking for right? And remember the wii is always different, probably just one main.dol for everything.

(I haven't looked through the iso too thoroughly but i did only find one main.dol)

Use waninkoko's save ripper bull**** or whatever. Preloader with hacks might work too (to xfer the save)
