I have just seen the extra maps added to the store. Will EA make limited edition users pay for content they should get for free?
yea seen that on a few sites wasn't 100% sure on it. At least We have the chance to licence transfer them now that they have been released to the none premium users
tbh, i could be wrong, but i think the premium transfer thing results in a ban, one of my good mates done it from another console, and has a ban but didnt say for how long for. the bundles short cuts work, but if you want to play bf3 still i suggest you not do it.
well be careful, as you will most prob get hit with a ban, spoke to somebody from dice about it, and they know,
No you are dead wrong. You can license transfer with as many accounts as you want. As long as you are not stealing the accounts to get the licenses nothing will happen. Also dealing with license transferring seeing how it is not involved with BF3 and is actually a system process then Microsoft would be responsible for your supposed banning not Dice. So enjoy whoever from Dice you talked to
Stop lying. If you spoke to anyone it would have been EA and MS deal with licence transfer bans (if they actually happen). Oh, my bad.
Not true. Premium members get all upcoming expansion packs 2 weeks early and keep them. It's all free. Basically, you've already paid for all the expansion packs by going premium.
Uh, yeah dude, that's my point. You're buying the expansion packs and 2 weeks early access to them, with a bit more stuff. It costs less than buying all the DLCs independently, so it's everything at a discount, but it's not free. No, it isn't. It's actually completely true. Think about it, lol. Why do people buy Premium? Is it the double XP or other Premium exclusive things? Maybe, but it's mainly for the DLCs. It's basically a season pass. Actually, it is a season pass. Premium isn't free, and thus, neither are the maps that come with it.
Hey will it is completely true. Let's put it in simpler words for you to understand. You go to a carnival, pay admission for around BUT you have to pay for tickets for rides without a pass. You pay for Pass which includes admission AND tickets. Which is better? You pay for the map packs yea, but you also get all the benefits such as the camo's, guns, maps, knife, etc. much earlier than the public and all for FREE. It's like paying for a reservation on a game. You pay for your spot and get the game for free. SIMPLE?
Yeah, you pay for the map packs. So they aren't free, which is what I said. Simple? And it's nothing like pre-ordering a game. You pay more to pre-order a game, not less. You don't get the game free, dude, you still have to pay for it. Nothing is free, especially from EA. No one's discussing which is better. Premium is obviously better, so I don't know what the hell that has to do with anything. If you buy a pass for a carnival, you bought the pass, which includes tickets and a free ride on an elephant. That means everything that comes in that package deal is discounted, NOT free.
Ok, let me say this... If you were paying for map packs you would be paying off FAR more than 50$. Look at the cost of Close Quarters map pack. It cost 1600 M$ points(20$USD). Now times that by the amount of DLC packs that were announced (20x3=60$). Doesn't seem like your paying for map packs since it surpasses that amount premium cost. NOW not only that but add the additional stuff in your head such as camo, early access, ques, knife, and all that good stuff in there. Do you think you're only paying for map packs now?
What are you even getting at? You're just backing my point up. XD Premium is the map packs at a discount with a few tidbits thrown in to make it a better deal, but the map packs aren't free. They're just discounted (heavily discounted, the more that I think about it).
I bought the GOW3 Season Pass, so I got all the map packs free of charge. That's what you're saying (of course it would be BF3, but just for comparison), and it's false. They are merely discounted. Also, who in their right mind is convinced EA (the current holder of the beloved golden poop) would give something away for FREE?
B2K doesn't count. It was free for everyone. CQ wasn't free for Premium members. At the moment, it actually costed $50, because the other expansions haven't been released yet. When all DLC has been released, Premium members will have paid $50 for all 3 packs (CQ, Armored Kill, and End Game are the only ones that actually cost money) and a bit of Premium exclusive stuff. People who bought them independently will have spent $60, but receive no Premium benefits. It is a package deal with maps at a discount, and other goodies thrown in to spice it up and make more people buy it. Package deals sound good, but that doesn't mean everything (or anything, for that matter) in the package is free. It's all the DLC for a discount, and that's all it is. None of this fancy "free stuff".
