Well with all of the fragmentation, I'm sure a lot of people are running different things. Right now I'm running 4.0.3 on my rezound. It's nonrooted, I just put the stable official leak with sense 3.6. I absolutely love it. If you don't know how to check it, go to your settings and go to about. In there it should tell you, if not go to software information. So what's yours? This is for Androids hence being in that section! Edit: My Rezound is now rooted on the stock ROM! Looking at the GS4 for my next phone
It's almost impossible to completely brick your phone when installing a custom rom. Basic steps are like this: 1. Root phone. 2. Install custom recovery. (ClockworkMod) 3. MAKE A BACKUP <---- Basically impossible to brick if you do this! 4. Wipe data/cache 5. Install rom. 6. Profit???
Lol did all of this and flashed CM7. went into infinite bootloop and when i used CWM it also went into bootloop
I downloaded the stable version (Not the google apps one) but it was for Galaxy S... + i was fully rooted.
Actually the Rezound only cloccks to 1836 MHz (1.836 GHz), so I don't know how he got to 1.9 GHz. When I overclocked my OG Droid to 1.25 GHz (which is a ton considering the stock cpu speed is 600 MHz) My phone would randomly restart, have connection issues, and was not smooth at all. Overclocking to the max is never a good idea IMO.
