What defines being a "tryhard"? Trying hard to win? Trying hard to get a lot of kills? Using the best guns? Using the worst guns and trying hard to win or get a lot of kills? I don't understand why people call others "tryhards". Aren't we all trying hard to do something?
It means someone who is trying very hard at the game and is in it to win without playing to just enjoy it or other reasons why people play games.
It's self explanatory. They try hard. I agree with you. We all try so calling someone a tryhard is redundant. Some people just think calling a tryhard is an insult. I usually think 'do you not want me to try?" It's pretty stupid if you ask me.
Try: Make an attempt or effort to do something. Hard: With a great deal of effort. So we put them together and we get something like "Make an attempt to do something with a great deal of effort"
Did you really have to start this flame war? I consider a tryhard someone who: - Plays like it's GB all the time - Dashboards if they didn't do well one game - Only uses the PP90M1, MP7 or shotguns - Constantly dropshots - Constantly jumps around - Rushes too much I can be a tryhard when I'm solely trying to rank up as fast as possible, but most of the time I'm just messing around sniping in Drop Zone, where playing against tryhards can really bother me :/.
I honestly wasn't trying to start a flame war. I just don't understand the point of calling someone out on being a tryhard. I do 2 out of the 6 things you listed. I only play like it's GB in Faceoff.
I would normally call them a wannabe I don't know why it just that they are putting more stress and effort in the game compared to a person playing it for fun.
What's your beef with Shotguns? If you actually used them, you would see, for the most part, they're terrible. The AA-12, Model, SPAS, and KSG could be the biggest piles of doo-doo I've ever seen. You're just hating on them because you probably get killed by a Striker/USAS, and generalize all of the shotguns. + Try hards never use shotguns, what are you talking about.
Haha, if you played Drop Zone as often as I did, you'd know why I have the biggest beef with shotguns. And the pump shotties are amazing by the way, I've gotten the KSG and Spas gold with damage multiple times and they destroy everything in close range areas, even mid range. I've only had damage on the Model once, and I can say it's worse than the other two. Never tried the Striker, USAS or AA12. And a lot of people using shotguns in DZ jump way too much, dropshot, are always booking around the map with their super fast shotty etc. which is why I call them tryhards .
Because 90 percent of the cod community are retarded .mute/block them and move on with your day. The people who call you it are nothing but zerglings,there only skill is watching for red dots on the mini map.they just rush around with there op7 or nonsense quck scoping and spam at the nearest dot well aim assit and soh Makes them look good ..
