Hey I thought about this last night, I probably am wrong but here me out. Since Sony will have to have an update to block jailbroken PS3's to go online, this is what I thought. When the update comes out, wouldnt we be able to clear our history on the PS3(clean swipe), reinstall 3.55 OFW, then upgrade to the new update thus saving ourselves from the ban? Just a thought, wanted to hear what others have to say.

Nope. You will be banned and you will like it.

They can't stop the CFW as we got all the keys they used to sign everything. Just like GeoHotz said, "We could just sign another one in 3 minutes."

Those 'Clear History' packages are useless. You need to clear history after you do everything so it makes it super repetitive. You could reinstall the OFW or try to clean it but it doesn't help. I'm pretty sure the PS3 has a ID for all the consoles so even if you do reinstall the OFW and clear the history, you still properly sent your "please ban me" history file with your ID.

I think they are going to do what Rockstar did for Red Dead Redemption, but on a bigger scale.( If you dont know what Rockstar did, when they found out people were cheating Online they sent a warnign before the update saying if you deleted your modded multiplayer save and start fresh then they wont ban you but if you dont they will ban you, but for some reason I was never banned probably because I wasnt online alot) They wont ban everyone because they will lose even more sales. They will only ban the select few to make examples out of them.
