Was going to get a ps3 can i download games for it?

    I know you can jailbreak it; i'm sure i'll be able to do it. Just wondering if i can download the latest games for free such as MW3, FIFA 12 and others...

    you would need to have the true blue dongle to play the newer games.

    you cannot play any games online when your ps3 is jailbroken (unless you install e3flasher, which is basically dual nand) but yes, with a true blue dongle you can play the newest games offline as long as you burn them to a blank blu ray disk.

    you dont need a blu ray disc to play em. just the eboot patches

    the true blue dongle requires games 3.61 and up to be burned to a blu ray disk.

    Your PS3 will need to be on firmware 3.55 or earlier in order to jailbreak it and play game backups. If you buy it new, it will be on a firmware higher than 3.55.
