I just did this yesterday. I sold my PS3 & Wii and got me some steam cash. I ended up buying all the valve games and a couple more. :D

I never get involved with GameStop anymore. You can get so much more through Ebay or Amazon. They work much better. GameStop rips you off, as most people here know.

True that, Gamestop offered me $60 for my 320GB PS3 I thought he was joking but he wasn't.

Yep, doubt it will make waves. Besides, I just digitally download all my console games.

I would too ff they offered a discounted price since, you know, it costs them less than distributing and producing the physical game.

Even if I decided to take advantage of this, I'd still have 600+ dollar PC to buy. Mine can't run Minecraft smoothly... Besides, I'd get more money just selling games on Craigslist/eBay.

That is crazy! I bought an old power brick for $40 from there. When I went to turn in another old power brick I got from online, they offered $20 for it. So I just returned the one I had bought from them (for $40), and kept the other one, which was kind of crappy, but not by much.

Would be awesome if Xbox and Steam had cross-platform play, but no...

I don't have a choice of buying/selling games besides Gamestop or Steam. I need my parents for Steam anyway, so this sounds really good to me.

I pretty sure EA didn't allow Valve to put BF3 on steam.
