This 12v Fan Mod is a lot easier than all the others. The does not require cutting any wires on your Fans, or your DVD Drive, this only takes 1 wire! THIS METHOD IS FOR TYPE 2 MOTHERBOARDS, THIS IS NOT FOR XENON MOTHERBOARDS. -Things you will need- -Soldering Iron -Solder -Flux -Tools to take apart a 360 -1-2 inches of 22-30AWG Wire -Optional- -2 Pieces of 8-10 inch 22-30AWG Wire -Toggle Switch -LED This mod is really simple, all you have to do is bridge 2 points together with a piece of wire. AND THAT IS IT!!! Just bridge the 2 points shown in the image and you will have an instant 12v Fan Mod! If you want to add some extras to it, you could add a toggle switch to it or even add a status LED. Here is an image of my 12v toggle switch.
