    **This will only work if you purchased it before the 11th. If you didn't, this may not work for you.**

    Simply contact Xbox Support, whether its phone or chat. When you connect with someone, tell them you aren't happy due to the HDTV requirement for splitscreen. Tell them you wanted to play with someone and cannot since you weren't informed of the requirement.

    They should issue a refund pretty fast. Mine came within 5 minutes or so of being in the chat.

    The agent should credit you 1600MSP for the game and you'll be set. Remember, this will only work if you bought it before the 15th. You can still try, but it might not work.

    It'll still work. I did this and mine still works. It's still in my purchase history.

    Since it's an error on the developers part, I don't think they'll take the license away. Mine remains in my purchase history and still works.

    Yeah, and unfortunately that was definitely a matter of oversight which has been fixed since then. I would be happy to take a look at your account and get that refund for you as long as it was purchased before it was updated on the 14th.

    Ill update this to actually see if they give me the points ..

    i started chat. waited 30s to connect someone. Anne.
    The waited another 30s for her to review my comment.
    6 minutes in and i get another person, This time, Rebekah
    3 minutes of BS talk.... and 2 minutes of her reviewing my account. AND...
    in 13 minutes time, she said she will refund it, but i wait i minute to check. and still not there, maybe it hasnt been refreshed so i ask and she said it will be there the next time i sign on. so heres the convo

    I just tried it and the support agent said that because i didn't purchase it before the 11th, she couldn't refund me because the split screen requirements were posted then. I had purchased Minecraft on the 13th, so you have to have purchased it before the 11th for this to work.
