Eyetv hd is good for Mac.
dazzle hd good quality and gets the job done. good for its price, around 70-90 bucks but you could probably get it cheap on ebay.
HD PVR is really good quality, I highly recommend it if you have an HD TV.
I personally use the Black Magic Intensity Pro
its Bloody Brilliant better quality than a HD PVR ( in certain cases ) a little bit cheaper however you need a good comp as it saps alot and the files are huge 1:30 min of gameplay is around 4GB
Thanks to [member=KrAcKeR] he wrote some great reviews on the same type of products, his have been added to the OP.
I am literally minutes away from purchasing the Hauppauge HD-PVR. My question, which I can't seem to find an answer for: what is the difference between the model numbers? The only I could find was something about a French manual.
They are over 300 AUD, so it would be an expensive mistake to make, hence why I thought I would ask those who have the device.
American questions only xD
TBH I have no idea what you just said.
Hauppauge 1212. Hauppauge 1216..... the model number (1XXX). What is the difference?
I have 1212, it's in English.
What do you suggest i use to record? im using Easycap 2.0 which came with Ulead Video studio SE DVD. Ulead doesnt seem to work, i have everything hooked up correctly but it still says NO device detected Any other software you can recommend?
What is the name of the USB video driver for EasyCap in Ulead Editor at this moment as a source here:
Capture/Capture Video/Source ?
There has been many cases that Windows has updated from the internet totally wrong video driver for this device.
Other common reason is that You have bought a fake Easycap and there is inside other chipset than inside an original
EasyCap DC60 or DC60+ and that fake chipset is not compatible with all operation systems.
Here is a few freewares which You can test: AmCAP, VirtualDub, Deput, Golden Videos and CaptureFlux.
When I buy the HD PVR will I have to download stuff to get better quality?
Pretty much. You will also need an editing software if you want to make a montage and stuff. PM me and I will talk to you on everything you need to know.
Thanks PM sent.
I'm selling my Dazzle to get closer to getting an HDPVR. They are so legit.
Not sure if this has been asked, but does the Hava work for mac?
I've got the Hauppauge HD PVR would recommend if you are serious about recording footage.
Is it possible to record in 1080p on an Xbox 360? If so, what PVR would you use? I know the Happauge can record in 720p/1080i. This is just out of curiosity. Thanks!
Hd Pvr's the best .
But im selling mine becasue i cba recording anymore
