Soft Unlock For The 79, no screwdriver or soldering iron required!!!!

first of all, forrest your av is the coolest s$%t Ive seen in a awhile.
anyhoo... I have left the power on always so the 79 stays in modeb. Is it random that winxp will see the 79 if i just open and close the tray enough times? I read a little on chipsets and I know mmy mobo is not via but nforce...could this have something to do with it, idk. But when I flashed my benq drive pp[l told me that nforce wont work to see the drive but mine did. HAd no probs there. I just ordered the the ltittle pwr and sata thingy off of ebay to pwr the 79 and any other drive from my pc and not the 360 (out of convienience), maybe that will make a difference.
any dieas are greatly appreciated, thnax.

if i keep my drive in my xbox, do i need to ground it to my computer?
also, in the video he says you type "79unlock (drive letter)" and you have it in your tut as "unlock79 (driveletter)"
does it matter which way?

Got my hitachi flashed, all it took was help from you guys and a different mobo with sata. Thanx guys

okay i got my sata card but i need to know before i start, do i need to ground my xbox before i do this if i keep the drive in the system??

alright soapy, few more questions..
when its in mode B, it ejects by itself..
so to stop that, i hit eject only once and it stops, but im not sure if that will affect the modding of it..
also, in the command, it wont find the file, and everybody talks about open the command from the file, but that option isnt there for me..
please help, everytime i type unlock79 G it says error.

but it flashed and turns on.. so thats a start

alright, not sure if this is the place to bring ALL of my issues, but so far i have been helped.
i burnt and iso (quantum of solace apathy) not sure if its the iso itself, of the way i burnt it, but it wont read the disk it keeps going to the eject option
people say that burning at 8X works.. but im too dutch so see if thats the case, these werent cheap. should i just buy a kreon drive and do the ripping myself?

nevermind, i accidently burnt the iso and not the .dvd file

why is it that when i went to copy my drive key it is just 7474747474747?

you must not have the most current version of TOOLBOX
check and see if it says 4.6 at the top..

when i go to save raw dump firmware as it says cannot read drive but my drive is in mode b, the dvd is in the drive, and it shows up. What going on?

i also did the thing where you type 79unlock e and it said done.
