I'm making a new setup, and I'm wondering if I should stick with one monitor, or get some more. If I am to get some more, how many?
How much money are you going to be spending? Also, how many things will you be running?I'm making a new setup, and I'm wondering if I should stick with one monitor, or get some more. If I am to get some more, how many?
If you want to game on multiple monitors, get 3. I personally use 2 monitors, 1 for gaming and the other to have a web browser or tv show playing, etc. You can't really use 2 monitors to game on because your crosshairs would be in the middle where the screens split.I'm making a new setup, and I'm wondering if I should stick with one monitor, or get some more. Damn, you bet me to it. I was going to say if he was just gaming on one screen buy 2, but if he wanted multiple screen gaming buy 3. Darn youIf you want to game on multiple monitors, get 3. Yeah, that's what I do! Game on one screen, XBMC on the other. So are you able to play a game on one monitor and watch a movie on the other with both monitors being hooked up to the same computer??
How do you go about setting something like that up? Won't the mouse show up on both monitors?Yeah, that's what I do! Game on one screen, XBMC on the other.

No, it will only go off screen when you are in a menu or hit the windows key, alt+tab, etc... I control XBMC from my phone though so I don't even need to do that. How do you go about setting something like that up? Won't the mouse show up on both monitors?
This is what I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009484 It is also IPS so it has better colors and looks good from any angle. Very small bezel as well so you won't have huge black bars messing up your game view. There is a cheaper version that isn't IPS but I really like the way stuff looks on IPS. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009316Thanks for all the reply's guys! It looks like I'm going to do three than, as I will be gaming on them. I already have one monitor, so should I get two different ones and use them with my current one, or should I go with three of the same monitors? I'm not looking to spend crazy amounts of money, so good quality cheep monitors are a must. Any recommendations?
So just by hitting those buttons it will move the mouse from one monitor to the other? No, it will only go off screen when you are in a menu or hit the windows key, alt+tab, etc... I control XBMC from my phone though so I don't even need to do that.
My GPU is very high end. It can support up to 6 monitorsIf you're going to game on all 3 you better have a very high end GPU to be able to play at that resolution without sacrificing the quality.
No, you just move the mouse yourself. I use the program Actual Multiple Monitors and with it you can set a hotkey to move the mouse to different screens. So just by hitting those buttons it will move the mouse from one monitor to the other?
Dude, this is awesome. I never understood the concept of having two monitors (I don't really game on PC) but now I want my computer build to be complete. Gracias. No, you just move the mouse yourself.
