He shot you first and inflicted more damage and then the semtex which was stuck to him took you out too and because it was the final kill he didn't die. It is how they game works I am afraid. Have you ever dropped a predator missile on a group of people and only one has died and the match ended? It is because your team had 74/75 kills needed, the game doesn't like overkill.
