The Base Security [W] is from Waypoint, not pre-order. And these aren't the [W] versions anyway, as you can see by the OP picture. ---------------- Gonna double post because I just noticed that my side-account's campaign progress has been wiped because of the GPDs not having any progress. So unless you wish to play through campaign again, these might not be for you. Just thought I'd put out the warning, I also put this in the OP. Sorry folks.
It only does if you don't go online to redownload your info. Does the campaign rest actually bother anyone? I'm sure I can use some saves real quick and reupload if it does.
Back when people first started doing the ultra-white/clear color mod, and Bungie symbol service tag one, the only one they seemed to crack down on was the symbol, because of impersonation. I can't remember if they made it autodetect the Bungie tag or not. I think you'll be fine unless you get specifically mentioned/investigated, but of course your chances of that happening increase the longer you have the mod on, and the more you play with random people in MM. Or if you have both Bungie and 343 employees that you play with....meh, they never noticed/cared about my screenshots of mods, so I'll risk it.
hey is it possible to use this .GPD method to use armor you dont have yet ? (Hunted ?) I take all responsibility if I get banned of course EDIT: the achievements say there unlocked but I can still re-earn them ^__^ (I like the sound)
Nope. These work because they are set to be available from the beginning, it's just that they don't have a slot in the armory listing. When the game loads it sees that you fit the requirements (Recruit, 400cR) and lets you keep it.
I think the game would still check for the DLC (I took my profile with Recon to a friend that dosnt have it and it showed up as Base Recon offline) (online it just reverted to default)
What do you mean? There aren't any other unused entries if thats what you mean. The requirement for that is the DLC file, so no.

Seen my friend Fate who posted above me up there do it and it looks nice. Well i have the regular pre-order chest via liscense transfer but I will try this seeing as I wear the pre-order chest normally and this one is more rare so its a win-win. Thanks Lord Zedd.
You are tearing me apart! lol i want to do this, i have the preorders but since the chest pieces are different i want to, think ill wait it out and see what happens, so i load up it like i did with inheriter, only to my profile, once i do that i imediately take it online, and everything from my profile sticks, serververside, it loads up that to replace the current gpd however the armor still sticks unless i change it which at that point it dissapears, is this about correct?
You can swap the GPD with the regular one on your xbox live profile and it will stay on as long as you dont swith the chest piece in the armory ever. Get on XBL if possible and I can explain lol.
