If you want to mod online, yes.

Well you don't NEED it to play online just to use the modded NAND online.

So then I don't need XBLS.

Single NAND is a standard RGH. Cannot go on LIVE without XBLS and can run unsigned code. Dual NAND is like two consoles in one. The one NAND is like the Single NAND console, and the other NAND is like a retail console that cannot mod but can go on LIVE.

No your best bet is just getting a single NAND console. If your doing it your self you only need the CR3 Lite, a NAND-X/J-R Programmer (if the console isnt a corona V2/V4), a NAND R/W kit for Coronas (if it is a Corona V2/V4), and the Post_OUT fix if its a corona v3/v4.

If your just buying a console you only need a single NAND one.

You would have to system link the consoles.

Since Microsoft patched modded console from connecting to xbox live, xbls is a service to bypass the challenges and enable your modded console to connect to xbox live. Dual NAND consoles I guess would be used for people who want to mod but play legit on the same console. It allows you to switch between 2 NANDs usually one is modded and one is retail. You cannot combine them. Modded NAND is disabled from xbox live (unless purchased xbls), and unmodded NAND is a retail xbox no modding. Make sense? Pm me if you have any other questions. I'd so some research on what the NAND is and you should be good.

No because you cant have both NANDs running at once.

No. To simplify the terms, the NAND of the console is much like the 'brain' inside of you. One person, one brain. However, since we're speaking about RGH's here, it would be one person (console) with two brains (NANDs).

System linking requires two consoles. You can't switch the NANDs while doing system link.
