it was reset and banned for 24 hours. i just want to know if bungie will do a harsher ban if anyone gets caught doing this. because if bungies computers can tell if we reset challenges they will know we reset commendations and the moment we do this we will be flagged
i would actually like to know that as well. I mean it doesn't involve anything that bungie classifies as "cheating" i.e. not messing with network or anything like challenge resetting. Would be cool to know though
Definitely want to do this! But the only thing is, if they found us all and reset us, will they be able to punish us harsher? They only found us before by looking at the number of syncs over a time period, and looking at our credit change each time. And when they reset and banned us temporarily, they didn't reset our commendations, so wouldn't they have checked our commendations? Or do you guys/girls think it might just be an automatic ban and reset everything but commendations and stats? Would be schmick if someone here could go behind enemy lines
I went ahead and did this...because if Bungie bands me for good I don't think I'm going to care. There was to gain cR is crap. If they reset me again or ban me from the game it looks like I'm just going to move on to another game and forget about Reach.
If you already have credits, will it reset them to 5000 and reset your rank? Because i got past the ban and earned like 15,000 credits... and i don't want to lose them
Good point. I like the way you think If your still temp banned, do you still get the 5000 credits? Not 100% sure, thought I read it reset you to 5000 though. You'll earn that back and more from the ONI thing anyway Up to you.
I think once your unband you go back to 5000...because when I reset I was at 5000 bought something for 750 and now on the bungie site I'm back up to 5000.
what kind of USB and memory cards does this work with? ive got a netopia thing and it fits into my xbox, but it doesnt come up. how do you do this and if my thing doesnt work, then can someone do it for me?
USB - Any kind Memory Card - Any type that will fit in the Xbox First you have to format the Device, you can do they by going to the Dashboard\My Xbox\System Settings\Memory\USB Then click on the USB and select "Format" When it's done, click on your main Hard Drive\Gamer Profiles\YourGamertagHere Select "Move" then select the USB.
