Once you get your hands on a PS3 that is on 3.55, I would recommend using either GeoHot's or Kmeaw's 3.55 Custom Firmware. They are very similar and will both get the job done. And my pleasure.
So, I just got a ps3 with version 4.00 firmware... Is there a method I can use to jailbreak it and start playing backups?
im pretty sure you can downgrade from 4.00 but not jailbreak so sorry bud. and if I remeber you need an e3 card reader or solder progskeet. SORRY IF THIS IS NOT ACCURATE I HAVENT PLAYED PS3 IN MONTHS. I PLAY XBOX MORE.
If you want to jailbreak it you will have to downgrade your PS3 by purchasing and installing the E3 Flasher.
Quick question, Im pretty sure you can but, lets say i use Rebug 3.55 can i switch over to Kmeaws 3.55? without messing up my PS3?
