We have all played the original Pokemon games (Red/Green/Blue), and we've all noticed the differences between both the video game and the show. The game was centered around being the strongest, becoming the champion, letting no one stand in your way (not even those Youngsters.); the show, however, was about friendship, not allowing the quest for power to overrule bonds. As I grew older, I slowly came to dislike the show, I know I'm not the only one, for the never changing story, I had always dreamed that there should have been another Pokemon show, but with Red and not Ash. Well, that dream has become a reality, on October 2, 2013 at 7:00 PM, Pokemon: The Origins will air in Japan. The show will follow the game, allowing the viewers to follow Red on his journey, both Green/Blue and Brock have been seen in the preview. The trailer opens with the line "To everyone who played Pokémon Red and Green and Blue", then follows up with Prof. Oak giving Red a Pokedex and his starter Pokemon, which seems to have been Charmander instead of a Pikachu. We also get a quick scene from a battle between Charmander and Geodude, followed by a(n) appearance from Lance the champion then the quote "The beginning of it all. The world of Pokémon Red and Green will be revived with a new original animation!". If that isn't enough, we even see a Green/Blue/Gary fighting with a Blastoise, just like when your rival chooses the opposite element Pokemon!
