Hmm thats pretty cool, i wonder if it will be compatible with all previous PS games, another good find
Im not a big fan of Sony (No its not because am i Xbox fanboy or w/e you wanna call it) cause IMO there products are all over priced and not worth it. The only Sony product i own is the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S, which i regret buying cause the Samsung Galaxy Note owns it anyday. Im not going to buy this Console because i'd rather play on PC or Xbox. And don't even get me started with their security.
It will not be compatible with any previous Playstation 1-3 titles. It also will have some sort of 'anti-used game' feature to deter the use of online passes and to also help 'ensure' higher title sales.
aww that sucks...what? thats retarded if they implement that then games will take longer for its price to go down...Just sounds like fail already then...lets see what happens
The only major hack was last year in 2011, which was the first and last time cfw was able to go online with the system. It wasn't able to be hacked for 5 years which is good security in my opinion. (I'm not a fanboy btw, I own both consoles and like them both) Anyways I really hope they just call it the Playstation 4, its what they've been doing since the beginning of playstation, why break the trend?
until a new cfw is released and all my information is stolen, I'm not concerned about a group of little kids trying to hack into PSN. I will admit xbox has had better experiences with their system although their system got hacked sooner (jtag hack). Guess it depends how you look at it.
The same sources used in this article claim that Sony has no plans for backwards compatibility (not too much of a surprise considering they removed it from later models of the PS3) and that games will be locked to a single Playstation Network account. All I have to say is that if this is true, Sony better make sure that their security is better than ever. If there is some sort of jailbreak for this new console, games will be pirated faster than half prices chicken wings sell on a Friday. He's wrong 'eh? Want to link me to where you read about this "recent intrusion", because, strangely enough, I haven't seen anything about it...
I don't approve of Sony, and try to avoid purchasing their products, so I won't be buying their next console, especially if it doesn't have backwards compatibility. That is the biggest thing I look for in a new console.
Sony products are overpriced, But the consoles are just as expensive as everyone else, And Microsoft has had many security breaches, You know the whole Fifa Hacks were people are losing money, Play Station may have been hacked but they took a month to up security and no one even lost a $1, Hell they even gave $40 worth of free content. It is pretty much all preference, The console's are almost the same except for some specs that really don't matter they are so similar. The online is the same, Just the only thing that is different is cross game chat but that is a double edged sword. OT: When the next consoles come out, I am getting a Ps4/Orbis. then I can have the Circle Of Life. Ps4/Orbis will have some Killer exclusives like the Ps3, The only good exclusive games xbox has going is Alan Wake and Fable and they just wanna F**k that up for themselves by throwing them in the dark while they piss out another mediocre shooter. Sadly they had to because it was costing them a arm and a leg to produce consoles that do that, they were actually losing money on the consoles sold and that is bad for buisness
I hope you realize that Microsoft didn't create Fifa. And i hope you realize that actually more than 3 Million USD were lost. EDIT: Typo.
No one Lost any money but Capcom Because they think the network being down cost them sales during the Whole Breach. But the Fifa hacks, Are on Xbox Live, And last time I checked Microsoft owns Xbox Live.
You should seriously take another look at the whole situation that happened in june. And yes the Hacks are on Xbox Live but it has nothing to do with Microsofts security >.> derp.
