Post your tips and tricks here...
    - Easy Imperial arena win - If you are a level 30 in acrobatics go to the arena and right when the gate opens go to that part in the wall with the peice of concrete jutting out. Jump on that, now jump on the next one above that. Now shoot away with spells and arrows at your helpless victim(s).
    -
-500 Gold in a 'very hard' chest - Go to the imperial city arena at later than 9:00 but earlier than 9:00 AM. You should see a chest on a table, now close the gates behind you to avoid being caught. Now save the game. Now pick the lock until you open it, and if you run out just load and try some more. Its a 'very hard' chest but just keep trying, because theres 500 gold in there.

A nice spell that will kill any "human" enemy, and most anything else. You need a magic of about 350, give or take 20, and a distruction of 100.
Fire, Frost, Lightning dammage 100 for two seconds on touch
Weekness to Magica 100% for two seconds on touch
If you've got room left over, add soul trap two seconds on touch.

After the Dark Brotherhood "clensing" quest, you get Shadowmare. The nice thing about Shadowmare is that she can't die. Once you kill her, you can use her as a traveling chest by adding or removing things from the corpse. Very usefull for raiding places with a lot of loot. I don't know if this still works after the update for the 360. Sometimes, the horse won't wake up, don't worry, she'll respawn in a day or two at the place you got her.

    Main Quest End Glitch:
Get 10 to 15 paintbrushes. the go to the Temple of The One in the Imperial City Temple District. Go in front of the temple and use the floating paintbrushes glitch. That glitch is when you discard paintbrushes and they float so you can climb up them like stairs. After you do this glitch you need yo use the glitch to get to the roof of the Temple. After you should fall right through everything should be see through. Now go to the door where you would normlallt enter it then if you look down you'll see the top half off the door . When you get inside look up and the sky should be red walk out and a message should appear sayin that Mehrenes Dagon is hear and that you need to get to Martin. Then go through each oblivion gates and get the sigil stones. You should cross over Dagon. Lead him out of the Gate and hit him when he leans over kind of enter the temple of the one and finish him off. Congrats you've skiped the whole main quest.

If you have paintbrushes discard them and they float you can discard 2 so they're like steps.

This is an amazing find. I am quite enthralled with Oblivion. I've played for 24 hours and I've only had it a week. It's not even mine. Has anyone else noticed that sometimes the NPC's don't even move their mouths, and sometimes the rug texture moves about. I know I'm going to play this game again -- Any suggestions on what my charachter should be next? I'm currently a Khajiit.

I know that was totally off topic.
    Some tips:
    +SAVE OFTEN. Understatement.
+Get lots of lockpicks!! When the quest for joining the thieves guild arises, and you have to steal the diary lockpicks are 5g each by any beggar. Take advantage -- Or when finally admitted to the guild find Ongar in Bruma and buy his lockpicks. 25 for 150g 50 for 300g up to 100 for 600g.
+There is a Skeleton Key (lockpick -- adds +40 to Security) I have not yet found it -- anyone know where it is??

One more question -- When in Skingrad and you have Glarthir's key, and you go into the basement and get Glarthir's secret key --- Does anyone know where this key goes to??

--If a beginner to this game, notice how there are no fish?? When you begin a quest with a man outside the Imperial City fish appear in all water systems, as to do with the quest. If you are a swimmer -- Hold off on this quest. (I found this out the hard way.. haha.)
--When you enter Glarthir's house go to the waste basket right when you enter, it will be on your right. Inside holds 800g.
--Also, you can pickpocket Glarthir (once only with out the gaurds called) and get his key.
--On the Planes of Oblivion -- those annoying land mine things can be avoided with bow and arrows. Direct your shot upwards so it hits that pod thing directly and make it explode.
    --JOIN THE DARK BROTHERHOOD.
--Want a horse? It's 1000g if you're not into the whole stealing thing (what's the worst they do, put you in jail? haha!) or, go to the Waterfront district (when you fast travel) just go straight across to the light house near the doors of the Temple District. There you will find a Paint Horse unattended.
--Killing people is fun. Raiding their bodies is cool. Taking their house key and raiding the house is very nice.
--When you finally bring martin and jauffre to Cloud whatever near Bruma go in with them. In there Jauffre will offer you to become a member of the blades in which you will recieve a katana that does 8 damage.
--Closing the Gates are not necessary -- however, if done the Sigil stone you recieve and the closing of the gate can be quite handy.

So, if you guys could answer some of my questions and such... that would be great! Thanks.

I bought this game and done understand it. Maybe there is just to much different things to do. It seems like all I do is fight people for stealing from the village right inside the castle (1hr into the game)

If your going to steal something or break into someones house, SAVE first. If your about to go into a cave or imperial ruin or other kind of ruin, SAVE. Saving is annoying, but itll be worth it when you die or get arrested.

Dude its a RPG game....Once you get into it its so addicting....but its hard though. And there is a lot of fighting.

    \

YAYAYAYa...the umbra sword is the ****. With mine I do 30 damage becuase my blade is at 100. When you face umbra she is..so..so..so.so hard it took me 20 minutes. But its worth it. Ill tell you where to find. It i took her armour and my sheilding is at 81. becuase armor is 99. Heres how:

Go to the Arena and get a few claymores. Then, go directly south of the Imperial Waterfront to a place called the Old Bridge. Move west and follow the road until you reach a ruin that starts with a "V". Go inside and get past the minor creatures. You will find a girl named Umbra. There is one broken pillar in the room. Use the bench next to it to jump on top of it, then stand at the edge. Use a ranged attack to have her start attacking you. Then, take out the claymore and just start hitting her. She has a lot of health and does a lot of damage -- do not fall off the pillar. If done correctly, you will have full Ebony and a great sword without getting touched.

I read something that there is an unbreakable lockpick, is this true? I have the pc version too, what's the main difference between an Xbox 360 version and the PC version.
